Link a switch via a 10-GbE Ethernet multimode fibre to a singlemode fibre backbone for extended distance


  • Compact desktop enclosure features 2 empty SFP+ transceiver slots
  • Converts 10-Gbps SFP+ interface to 10-Gbps SFP+ interface in a desktop chassis.
  • Automatic rate detection
  • SFP+ transceivers optional available for 10GBASE-SR (short range) multimode and 10GBASE-LR (long-range) single-mode fibre to go as far as 10 kilometers.
  • Functions as a fibre mode converter and a fibre repeater.
  • Ideal for linking a switch via a 10-GbE Ethernet multimode fibre to a singlemode fibre backbone for extended distance
  • Also a great solution for linking 10-GbE servers in two buildings over interference-free fiber.
